However, this does not mean that the quality decreases as a result of the reduced price. In fact, faux wood blinds are exceptionally long-lasting and resistant to moisture and humidity. Because of this feature, they are the best choice for humid environments such as bathrooms or kitchens.

Faux Wood Blind Installation Guide
Step 1:Mount hardware flush with window frame or well. The headrail should be set back at just the right distance. If your blinds have a valance, set them back further. Consider 1-inch imitation wood blinds for inside-mounted window treatments on skinny windows.
Step 2:Level and mark the edges with a pencil. Mark the screw holes on the brackets using the pencil marks.
Step 3:Drill pilot holes. If you don’t have a power drill, you can produce pilot holes by tapping a nail in and drawing it out. Choose a smaller nail than the screw so the pilot hole isn’t too big.
Step 4:Align the first bracket with the pencil marks and drill or screwdriver in the screws. Repeat for the other bracket. If your blinds came with a center bracket, mount it slightly off-center so it doesn’t interfere with the top mounting mechanism.
Step 5:Attach valance clips to the headrail before installing blinds. Spacing them out won’t interfere with any mechanisms.
Step 6:Headrail into brackets. Snap-on the bracket covers. The blinds should be secure in their brackets.
Step 7:Adjust the valence clips as needed.
Step 8:Slowly raise and lower your new blinds, then tilt the slats back and forth. Never tug or put considerable weight on blinds, no matter how securely they’re fastened.
